Today, the bone marrow transplant team from the Clinic of Hematology and Transplantation, University Clinical Center Tuzla performed autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) of bone marrow in a 24- year- old patient suffeing from Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
It is the second hematopoietic stem cell transplant that our transplant team performed over the past two weeks.
Prof. Dr. Aida Čustović Arnautović, head of the Clinic for Hematology and HSC Transplantation explained that the procedure was done in a young patient who was suffering from nodular sclerosing stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma.
The autologous transplant procedure went well, and the patient is hemodynamically stable with an uneventful recovery.
