On Tuesday, representatives of Institute for Health Insurance and Reinsurance of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ZZOR FBiH) paid an official visit to the University Clinical Center Tuzla. The delegation led by director of ZZOR FBiH Ass. Prof. Vlatka Martinović hosted director of Clinical Center Tuzla Ass. Prof. Alen Kamerić with his closest associates.
The main topics of the meeting were maintenance of the existing medical equipment and procurement of new medical equipment, harmonization of financial funds for health care protection of insured persons on the territory of the Federation BiH and Brčko District.
The central topic of the meeting was the question of adequate management of patients who are on the waiting list due to failure of the software system for radiotherapy planning. Director Kamerić said that repair works on system are already scheduled, but in the meantime, if necessary, we also prepared a priority list of patients for support and transportation to the radiotherapy hospitals in Sarajevo, Mostar and Zenica.
The interesting discussions on the meeting were about initiatives in expanding the health care services, the improvement of existing regulations in the field of health care and the level of satisfaction among the insured customers.
The meeting also attended head of the Finance and Accounting service ZZOR FBiH Marija Marković and economist Zaliha Čengić.
Our director was accompanied by following associates director of Sector for economic financial affairs Sabina Tanović, director of the Sector for human resources Azra Nurkanović, head of Hospital pharmacy Katica Mišić, and chief of Procurement service Sadeta Jagodić.
