Yesterday, the delegation consisted of government representatives from Tuzla Canton led by Prime Minister Irfan Halilagić and the Minister of finances Suad Mustajbašić were in a working meeting in Clinical Center Tuzla. The director of the University Clinical Center Tuzla Prof. dr. Denijal Tulumović and president of Board of directors Emir Softić hosted our guests from Tuzla Canton Government.
The main topics of meeting were a co- ownership relations between Tuzla Canton and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the renewal of the Agreement for scientific cooperation between Clinical Center Tuzla and the University of Tuzla, and the financial consolidation and procurement of medical equipment.
Prime Minister Halilagić and Minister of finances Mustajbašić again expressed the commitment of Cantonal government to allocate significant funds for development strategies and plans of Clinical Center Tuzla for the future.
” The Cantonal government has had an indisputable role in readiness and commitment to support consolidation of the University Clinical Center Tuzla, as well as its further improvement.” said Premier Halilagić, adding that Clinical Center Tuzla is a healthcare brand in Tuzla Canton. He also mentioned that recent set up of co- ownership relation with the Federation of BiH will additionally help process of consolidation, thereby bringing new benefits for the citizens of Tuzla Canton, Brčko District, and all other cantons that rely on health care services of the Univesrity Clinical Center Tuzla.
Director of the University Clinical Center Tuzla Prof. dr. Denijal Tulumović informed our guest about finance and business operations, the need for procurement of medical equipment, respectively for the renewal of worn- out equipment, the structure of human resources and the importance of professional education. On the occasion Prof. Tulumović also shared information that a large number of doctors, specialist, who initially left the University Clinical Center Tuzla and moved to other health center, expressed a desire to return.
