A press conference launching campaign ” Each jersey has its own story” was held today at the Clinic for Children’s Diseases, University Clinic Center Tuzla. The campaign will be implemented by a philanthropist Sead Mulić in cooperation with the Tuzla Community Foundation and the University Clinical Center Tuzla.
As a passionate the soccer jersey collector, who for over two decades has been collecting the jerseys worn by famous soccer players, Sead Mulić has decided to put his rich collection of over a hundred jerseys to the fundraising auction. A fundraising contributions will be used for the purchase of neonatal mechanical ventilation for the Clinic for Children’s Diseases.
In speaking to the press, head of the Clinic for Children’s Diseases Ass. Prof. Lejla Osmančević said that approximately between 400 and 500 little patients pass through the Intensive Care Union per year, of whom a quarter require mechanical ventilation, and these are mostly newborn babies in need for neonatal intensive care.
The fundraising campaign “Each jersey has its own story” goal is to collect 50000 KM for the purchase of invasive pediatric mechanical ventilation device. For many years, the Tuzla Community Foundation has promotes local philanthropy fundraising campaigns and co-finances local projects of general social significance.
