Samir Kamenjaković, a long- time employee of the University Clinical Center Tuzla, passed away yesterday, on March 11, 2023, at the age of 48. Samir Kamenjaković was born on May 10, 1975 in Tuzla, where he graduated from the Secondary Medical School. He graduated in Medical Radiology at the University of Sarajevo, where he defended master’s degree and doctoral thesis. Additional education in the field of health management he finished at the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo. He worked at the Clinic for radiology and Nuclear Medicine of the University Clinical Center Tuzla where he had held the position of chief technician for many years. He was an assistant professor at the Department of radiological Techniques at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tuzla. He published more than 20 professional papers in the field of medicine.
Samir Kamenjaković served as a mayor of Živinice and deputy president of the Tuzla Canton Assembly. During the war he was a member of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Th commemoration will be held today, 12 March, 2023, at the Bosnian Cultural Center Živinice starting at 11 a.m. The Book of Mourning will be opened from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The last farewell will be held today 12 March, 2023 at 4 p.m. in Donja Lukavica, and the funeral at the Lone cemetery.
