The Federal Ministry of Physical Planning through the Implementation Unit of additional financing the Project of Energy Efficiency in BiH is working on preparation and revision of project documentation for the implementation of energy efficiency measures at the Clinic for Internal Medicine facility. In accordance with the detailed energy audit and the proposed measures, the project steering committee approved the implementation of measures.
Prof. Dr Denijal Tulumović, acting director of Clinical Center Tuzla on that occasion said that the University Clinical Center Tuzla has been registered with competent institutions for the introduction of energy efficiency measures since 2015.
“The energy efficiency project on the facilities of the surgical branches, the Polyclinic for laboratory diagnostics, and the Clinic for pulmonary diseases has been completed. With the implementation of the energy efficiency project at the Tuzla University Clinical Center, energy consumption will be reduced, resulting in a more comfortable stay for patients and work for employees, not to mention an overall improvement of the living environment,” said director Tulumović.
The Ministry of Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection of the Tuzla Canton provided a great deal of assistance in carrying out these activities. The project is financed by the World Bank. The implementation of the project at the Clinic for Internal Diseases is expected to be completed in 2024.
