Prof. Dr. Zada Pajalić, Vice Dean for Research, Development, and Innovation at the University of Southeast Norway, is making a professional visit to the University Clinical Center Tuzla. This visit is part of the project “Transfer of Knowledge, Skills, and Experience from Emigration to Bosnia and Herzegovina,” led by the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project’s goal is to connect Bosnian institutions with diaspora experts of Bosnian origin who bring valuable experience and expertise from abroad.
Prof. Dr. Pajalić is the first of several experts scheduled to visit the University Clinical Center Tuzla in 2024 and 2025. During her five-day visit, Prof. Pajalić will conduct a series of educational lectures and workshops as part of the program titled “Health Literacy, Digitalization in Medicine, Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, Medical Treatments and Home Care, Audiovisual Monitoring in Healthcare.” More than 100 employees, including nurses, medical doctors, and non-medical staff, will undergo this training.
“In the Nordic countries, education is organized with a strong focus on practical application and effective patient communication. The advancement of science demands an adaptable education system, leading to significant changes in how healthcare professionals are trained. I aim to share my experiences with the healthcare workers at Clinical Center Tuzla and explore our collective vision for the future of healthcare in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Where do we see our profession in 10, 20, or even 30 years? These are the key questions we will address together,” said Prof. Dr. Zada Pajalić.
This project and collaboration are expected to be a significant step towards improving healthcare at Clinical Center Tuzla, offering an opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills that will enhance the quality of services provided.
