The 65th Abdominal Ultrasound Diagnostics Course is taking place at the University Clinical Center Tuzla (UKC Tuzla) from March 31 to April 25, 2025, as part of the institution’s ongoing medical education program.
Organized by the University Clinical Center Tuzla and the Medical Chamber of Tuzla Canton, the course aims to enhance the expertise of medical professionals in ultrasound diagnostics.
Prof. Dr. Renata Hodžić, President of the Assembly of the Medical Chamber of Tuzla Canton, emphasized the Chamber’s commitment to continuous professional development, stating:

Prof. Dr. Šekib Umihanić, Director of the University Clinical Center Tuzla, highlighted the significance of the Abdominal Ultrasound Diagnostics Course, emphasizing its role in enhancing participants’ expertise in ultrasound applications, which directly improves the quality of healthcare services.

Prof. Dr. Ervin Alibegović welcomed the participants in his opening address, highlighting the international character of the 65th Abdominal Ultrasound Course, which will enhance both the quality of lectures and the practical application of ultrasound diagnostics.
Prof. Alibegović further emphasized that this year’s course stands out by incorporating advanced ultrasound techniques, including contrast ultrasound and basic elastography methods.
The educational process will be structured gradually and systematically, tailored to the participants’ level of knowledge to ensure effective learning.
Led by Prof. Dr. Erdin Alibegović, the course will feature lectures by renowned experts in the field of ultrasonography. Upon successful completion, participants will acquire both theoretical and practical proficiency in abdominal ultrasound and receive certificates recognizing their achievement.
