The World Bank team consisting of Nada Teodosijević, ICT specialist and Zlatan Šabić, senior operation officer visited University Clinical Center Tuzla today. The guests received the director of University Clinical Center Tuzla Ass. Prof. Nešad Hotić with his associates Sabina Tanović, director of Sector for Financial Affairs and Nihad Mešanović, director of Sector for Information Technologies at University Clinical Center Tuzla. The objectives of their visit was to prepare a project report on information technologies that have been identified as an integral part for the proposed new health sector project in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the last mission of the World Bank. The general idea of the project is to reform the health system by introducing new models of financing in health sector.
Ass. Prof. Nešad Hotić expressed his satisfaction with the guests’ interest in Clinical Center Tuzla and introduced them with the development of a unique information system and the results achieved in this segment in our hospital. He also spoke about working conditions and specifics that affect overall hospital’s performance.
The World Bank team talked about the importance of the project, through which to offer systemic solutions for the initial difficulties and to determine the financial management system reform.
Ass. Prof. Nihad Mešanović made a tour on clinics with guests and talked about informatization of University Clinical Center Tuzla.
