The ceremony to mark the beginning of the second generation doctoral studies “Biomedicine and healthcare” was held yesterday at Medical faculty, University of Tuzla. This year’s doctoral studies program, which is aligned with the Bologna process will attend 55 PhD students.
The Rector of the University of Tuzla, Prof.dr. Samir Nurić said that the participants of doctoral studies will contribute to the prosperity of medical science of which the greatest benefits will have its consumers, citizens, but also strong career satisfaction for PhD students.
The Dean of Medical faculty, Prof.dr. Nermina Hadžigrahić also addressed to participants ” I would like to say that our continuous innovations in study programs allow academic education of professionals in the field of biomedicine and healthcare, which will in the future certainly be recognized as a highly qualified graduates.”
According to Prof.dr Enver Zerem, leader of PhD studies, the aim of doctoral studies “Biomedicine and healthcare” is actually training for independent scientific research.” We want to achieve that doctoral students master the modern methodology of scientific research, to develop skills based on new scientific knowledge and technology, as well as to adopt attitudes in accordance with the highest ethical valid standards.” said Prof. dr. Zerem.
