On 29 and 30 March 2019, the Clinic for Surgery, University Clinical Center Tuzla hosted the 3rd Symposium on Surgery with international participation in the Hotel Mellain.
The main theme for the 3rd Symposium was “Complications in the digestive system and visceral transplantation surgery”.
” Complications in the digestive system surgery, their recognition, diagnosis and treatment represent the most challenging form in surgical practice, and they are quite important for the overall outcome of the treatment and survival rate. This medical event will cover topics related to complications in the digestive system surgery, and provide an opportunity for training and professional development of surgeons. In addition to developing our professional capabilities and knowledge, we would like to acquire new friendships and experiences during this professional gathering. There are great challenges ahead of us, but quality professional cooperation leads to good results. I am particularly happy to see this Symposium happening in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tuzla ” said on the occasion Prof. Dr. Zijah Rifatbegović, head of the Clinic for Surgery, University Clinical Center Tuzla.
More than 150 local and foreign eminent experts from this medical field took participation in the 3rd Symposium on Surgery.
