Yesterday, the University Clinical Center Tuzla hosted the award ceremony for the best short movie that promote organ and tissue transplantation to mark the end of campaign “For life- talk, support, share”.
The campaign that was launched in May 2019 by the Federal Ministry of Health in cooperation with the Association of Dialysis and Transplant Patients of the Federation B&H and the Donor Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina aimed to highlight the importance of promotion of organ and tissue donation for transplant purposes.
At the invitation of the Federal Ministry of Health , 36 short competitive movies on the theme was filmed in Sarajevo, Zenica, Tuzla, Lukavac, Kalesija, Mostar, Vitez, Livna, Posušje, Istočno Sarajevo, and Banja Luka.
The expert jury consisted of Šuhreta Duda Sokolović, Nedžad Begović and Srećko Stipović reviewed and rated 16 selected films that met the campaign criteria, and voted for 3 the best- themed movies: the first prize in the contest won author Nemanja Jovičić, the second prize won Aleksa Trkulja, and the third prize won Ivana Bešlić Penjava.
Voters in a poll on Facebook page of the Association of Dialysis and Transplant Patients of the Federation B&H gave the biggest number of likes to author Una Selman Žilić, Ana Dragozet and Ivana Bešić Penava.
The Facebook campaign reach is more than 300.000; a short movies have been viewed more than 90.000 times; more than 60.000 people on this social page have been commenting, supporting and sharing information on the importance of organ and tissue donation and transplantation, that was the main campaign goal.
