A delegation led by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir Izetbegović visited the University Clinical Center Tuzla yesterday. The delegation consisted of the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirsad Zaimović, Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalić, and Federal Ministers Salko Bukvarević and Edin Ramić. Prime Minister of the Tuzla Canton Denijal Tulumović and the Minister of Health of the Tuzla Canton Dajana Čolić attended the yesterday’s meeting on behalf of the Tuzla Canton Government.
The director of the University Clinical Center Tuzla, Prof.Dr. Vahid Jusufović, with his closest associates, hosted our guests.
The main topic of the meeting was the current health situation caused by the COVID- 19 epidemic in the Tuzla Canton. A wide- ranging measures that are taken to prevent COVID- 19 outspread in the University Clinical Center Tuzla, available medical equipment, the COVID-19 tests and the number of hospitalized patients related to this epidemic were the main points discussed during the meeting.
The guests expressed their satisfaction and commended outbreak response activities in Clinical Center Tuzla, and announced that the Federal Government would continue to provide material and technical support and assistance essential to the functioning of our institution.
