The Procurement Service, as a key function within the University Clinical Center Tuzla, ensures every activity involved in obtaining the goods and services a company needs to support its daily workflow.
By complying with the Law on Public Procurement and following the adopted Public Procurement Plan, the Procurement Service conducts the public procurement procedures and processes.
Successfully implemented procurement procedures are resulting in a contract management activity.
The duties and responsibilities of the Procurement Service staff:

Participate in the monitoring of the performance and application of legal and other best procurement practices; familiarize employees with legal regulations;

The planning of procurement of goods and services for the needs of organizational units;

Finding new suppliers and supplier selection process;

Drafting a framework contract agreements and writing the service reports;

Preparing of standard tender/contract documents;

Making contact with experts;

Participation in the work of public procurement commissions (writing reports on the commission’s work, making recommendations for the selection of bidders, responding to complaints, keeping records of contracts, procedures and various other records);

Collecting and processing of claims;

Communicating with organizational units in process of preparing and issuing contracts and purchase orders;

Engagement of external services and providing documentation to create the document entries; incoming invoices processing from receipt to payment;; monitoring of deadlines for submission of incoming documentation and document completeness control; accounting source documents and bookkeeping.
