The First Congress of Perinatal Medicine of Bosnia and Herzegovina with international participation organized by the Society for Perinatal Medicine in B&H, and co- organized by the Faculty of Health Studies of the University of Mostar and the University Clinical Hospital Mostar was held in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzgovina.
The scientific program of the Congress offered insight into the latest knowledge and recommendations for good clinical practice through clinically relevant thematic units that were presented by leading clinicians and researchers from Finland, Italy, Austria, Germany, Israel, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The plenary session given by our medical director Assoc. Prof. Igor Hudić, who spoke on the topic “Progesterone induced blocking factor (PIBF) as a predictor of pregnancy outcome” sparked a great deal of interest of the professional public.
This Congress achieved a number of conclusions and reached a decision to prepare a Guidelines on a unique approach to perinatology treatment in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
