On the occasion of the upcoming New Year’s celebration Tuzla’s Mayor Zijad Lugavić yesterday visited the Clinic for Children’s Diseases and brought gifts for hospitalized children.
Tuzla continues its tradition of providing 2.000 New Year’s gifts every year to children in institutions, organizations and associations that serve those in need. According to the Mayor, this is tradition that dates back over twenty years.
This year, New Year’s gifts are provided for residents and members of various institutions, including the Clinic for Children’s Diseases, the Institute for the Education of Persons with Disabilities, the “Mothers of Handicapped Children” Association, the Public Institute Center for Education and Upbringing and Hearing and Speech Rehabilitation, “Korake nade”, URODIOL Tuzla, Association of Visually Impaired Citizens, Home for Children Without Parental Care, JU Center for Social Work Tuzla, National Kitchen, Organization of War Veteran Invalids Tuzla, Special Sports Club, Association of Parents and Friends of Children with Leukemia “Pipol”, Association ” Minor Fighter ARBIH”, Association of Parents of Children with Autism URDOSA Tuzla, Association “Stećak”, Association “In vivo”, Association “Duga”, Solidarity Union, Association HVIDRA Tuzla, Association “Hrabro srce”, Association “Novi Horizonti”, Association citizens suffering from dystrophy Tuzla Canton, Tuzla’s Amica, and Association of citizens “Srce Husina”.
Mayor Lugavić expressed satisfaction that the tradition of giving gifts to children who need it most continues.
