With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our esteemed colleague, friend, and collaborator, Amela Čičkušić.
Her untimely departure has left us grieving the loss of a valued member of our team, a bright soul taken from us at the age of 34.
It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge the prematureness of each departure.
Amela was born in Tuzla on February 2, 1990. After elementary school, she graduated from the Nursing School in Tuzla. The first beginnings of work were at the Clinic for Anesthesiology and Reanimation, where she started working on April 1, 2010, in the position of nurse-technician. She graduated from Medical school on July 8, 2019, and received her Master’s degree in nursing on July 24, 2021.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she made an immeasurable contribution by providing health care to hospitalized patients in the Respiratory Center of the Clinic for Pulmonary Diseases.
After the COVID-19 pandemic, she continues to work at the Clinic for Pulmonary Diseases a registered nurse at the Semi-Intensive Care Department.
The commemorative service in honor of nurse Amela Čičkušić will be conducted at the Clinic for Pulmonary Diseases of University Clinical Center Tuzla.
