Minister for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sevlid Hurtić, visited the University Clinical Center Tuzla during the implementation of the ‘Knowledge Transfer’ project.
During discussions with the director of University Clinical Center Tuzla Professor Dr. Šekib Umihanić, Minister Hurtić introduced a project aimed at fostering connections between Bosnian experts from the diaspora and their homeland.
Developing the project mans bringing our experts from different fields around the world to Bosnia and Herzegovina to share their knowledge and experience with our colleagues. “The project has ten experts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and there are about forty more applicants on the list, and we want to complete it this year,” minister Hurtić said.
One of the topic discussed during the meeting was the realization of grant funds for the acquisition of necessary medical equipment for the treatment of the Roma population, which would be used for the needs of all patients. Director Umihanić thanked for the visit and expressed the readiness of the University Clinical Center Tuzla to participate in the mentioned projects, and pointed out that this institution will provide maximum professional and technical support.
