As part of the ongoing collaboration between the University Clinical Center Tuzla and the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection of Tuzla Canton, Minister Anela Ajšić visited the Clinical Center, where she held a working meeting with the acting director, Prof. Dr. Šekib Umihanić.
During the meeting, they reviewed previously implemented projects supported by the Ministry. Special emphasis was placed on the insulation projects for the Clinic of Internal Medicine and a section of the Surgery Clinic, as well as roof renovation work on the Surgery Clinic building.
Minister Ajšić and Director Umihanić agreed that these projects have made a significant contribution to enhancing energy efficiency and improving the environment for both patients and staff. Additionally, they discussed project proposals for 2025, with a focus on further infrastructure improvements at University Clinical Center Tuzla.
Prof. Dr. Umihanić emphasized the importance of decarbonization projects, noting that these initiatives will help reduce environmental impact and enhance the sustainability of the healthcare system. Minister Ajšić highlighted that this meeting marks a significant step toward further advancing healthcare in Tuzla Canton and strengthening the cooperation between University Clinical Center Tuzla and the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection.
