The Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton, Irfan Halilagić, officially received a new ambulance vehicle from the supplier today, which was purchased by the Government of Tuzla Canton for the University Clinical Center Tuzla. The ambulance, valued at 131,316 KM, was immediately handed over to the center to enhance patient transport and improve healthcare services.
“The donation of this ambulance to Clinical Center Tuzla marks a significant milestone in enhancing our services and improving patient transport. This new vehicle will enable faster and safer transportation, further elevating the quality of healthcare we provide. We are deeply grateful to the Government of Tuzla Canton for their continued support and understanding of our healthcare system’s needs. This generous gesture reaffirms our shared commitment to prioritizing the health and well-being of our citizens,” stated Prof. Dr. Šekib Umihanić, Director of University Clinical Center Tuzla.
The Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton, Irfan Halilagić, highlighted that this donation underscores the Government’s commitment to making Clinical Center Tuzla a trusted provider of quality healthcare. “While modernization and improvement are not achieved overnight, I am pleased that we are already seeing tangible results that directly benefit patients. Over the past two years, the Government of Tuzla Canton has allocated more than 20 million KM for the procurement of equipment for the University Clinical Center Tuzla, much of which is now actively used in daily operations,” stated Prime Minister Halilagić.
The Minister of Health of Tuzla Canton, Dušanka Bećirović, underscored the importance of continuing efforts to equip the University Clinical Center Tuzla.
She stated, “The Government of Tuzla Canton and the Ministry of Health remain committed to supporting the University Clinical Center Tuzla. Our goal is to continually enhance the healthcare infrastructure and improve services for all citizens of our canton.”
