Adin, the first newborn of 2025, was born at 1:30 a.m., weighing 3,870 grams and measuring 58 centimeters.
Prof. Dr. Šekib Umihanić, Director of the University Clinical Center Tuzla, congratulated the joyful parents and extended his best wishes for a happy and carefree childhood to all newborns welcomed into the world on New Year’s Day.
The Maternity Ward of the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics of the University Clinical Center Tuzla, as a “Baby-Friendly Hospital”, promotes the “rooming in” program, which allows newborns to be with their mothers immediately after birth, who, with the support of health staff, are educated on breastfeeding techniques.
During 2024, 2,521 newborns were born at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics of the University Clinical Center Tuzla.
