The 12th Cardiac Ultrasound Course organized by the UKC Tuzla Clinic for Internal Medicine officially ended today. This form of individual training is designed to increase participants’ knowledge, skill and ability to safely and efficiently use cardiac ultrasound equipment, and to perform and interpret echocardiograms independently. Under the expert supervision, all participants had a chance to learn about the current knowledge and clinical implications of the echocardiographic assessments.
Prof. Dr. Zumreta Kušljugić, a president of working group for echocardiography for Bosnia and Herzegovina in European Association of Echocardiography was a leader of this year’s course. The lecturers from Tuzla were Prof. Dr. Fahir Baraković, Prof. Dr. Hidajeta Begić, Dr. Elnur Smajić, MSci, Primarius Dr. Esad Brkić and Ass. Prof. Nihad Mešanović, electrical engineer. Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Lazarević was a guest lecturer from Banja Luka.
