The Acibadem Healthcare Group yesterday held a series of educational lectures in the field of pediatric and adolescent hematooncology in the amphitheater of the Clinic for Infectious Diseases, University Clinical Center Tuzla. The esteemed lecturers were Prof. Dr. Siret Ratip and Prof. Dr. Antmen Bulent.
Primarius Dr. Amila Latifagić said that the cooperation with the Acibadem Healthcare Group already exists and indicates good results:” We have good experience with children who have already had the transplant of bone marrow after the treatment of acute lymphoblastic and myeolid leukemia. After having visited us in our hospital, this healthcare group decided to participate in the adaptation of the Department of Hematology and Oncology, Clinic for Children’s Diseases. We are very grateful to them for support, and we hope and look forward to successful cooperation with Prof. Bulent and Acibadem.
On this occasion Prof. Dr. Aida Arnautović Ćustović, chief of team for bone marrow transplantation said:” We have a long-term and good cooperation with Acibadem. Lecturing provided by Acibadem is one of the segments of cooperation and we also proud to be hosting Prof. Siret’s lecture today. Bone marrow transplantation has been practiced in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the University Clinical Center is the only hospital that offers allogeneic stem cell transplantation. We also hope that voluntary bone marrow donors registry is going to be set up soon in our country, so that we could deal with all forms of transplantation. Most importantly we have a professional and trained personnel.”
