On Friday 8th , 2017, the delegation of the University Clinical Center Tuzla consisted of director Ass. Prof. Nešad Hotić and head of the Sector for legal affairs and human resources Ervin Mujkić visited the Embassy of Japan in Sarajevo and met the Ambassador of Japan in BiH H.E. Kazuya Ogawa and his associates. The meeting that took place in a friendly atmosphere was an opportunity to discuss the successful implementation of the second phase of the Japanese government grant assistance, within which Clinical Center Tuzla received a significant donation of medical equipment (a large set of instruments for gynecology and general surgery) in the value of 4.647.000 JPY.
On this occasion and on behalf of the staff and patients Ass. Prof. Nešad Hotić thanked to the Ambassador of Japan in BiH Mr. Ogawa and gave him a special thank- you note for his contribution and cooperation in the realization of this valuable donation. In the course of the meeting it was talked about the continuation of cooperation and possibilities for realization of similar projects in the future. Our director presented ideas for new projects related to medical equipment procurement, reconstruction and expansion of existing facilities, as well as education of medical professionals, while the Ambassador informed our delegation about the possibilities for applying for the grant assistance by the Japanese government.
