Today, on 22 October 2019, the Ministry of Civil Affairs hosted dissemination event on the results of the EU Health Program and other European initiatives focusing on digital health, chronic and rare diseases at the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
After formal opening, the dissemination event began with the exposure by Marc Vandenbroeck, scientific project officer, CHAFEA, who made a review of projects and actions focusing on digital health, chronic and rare diseases.
The next session of program covered presentations of selected initiatives funded by the EU Health Program, as well as presentations of initiatives funded by other EU programs.
Dženita Hukić from the Federal Ministry of Health presented the joint medical project of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro NeurNet “a Network for Healthcare Management of Patients with Pharmacoresistant Epilepsy and Patients with Advanced Stages of Parkinson’s Disease”.
The event also attended employees of the University Clinical Center Tuzla Ass. Prof. Nihad Mešanović elect. eng., head of the IT Sector, Ass. Prof. Amra Iljazović, neurologist and Dr.Leila Avdić, neurologist.
The delivery of the remaining equipment necessary to build the NeurNet network at the University Clinical Center Tuzla is expected in early November, when our first patients are supposed to have the expected benefits from the project.
